Arista Wood stands behind the quality, craftsmanship, and materials used in our heirloom furniture. This Limited Warranty applies to Arista Wood interior furniture products and outlines the specific coverage, exclusions, and care requirements.

 

1. Warranty Coverage 

Arista Wood warrants to the original purchaser that its interior furniture products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use and proper care, as follows: 

  • - Manufacturing and Construction: Five (5) years from ship date 
  • - Drawer and Door Hardware: One (1) year from ship date 
  • - All Other Components: One (1) year from ship date 

 

This warranty applies only to furniture used indoors in climate-controlled residential environments.

 

2. What This Warranty Covers 

Subject to the terms and limitations herein, this warranty covers: 

  • - Defects in craftsmanship or construction 
  • - Structural failures caused by defective materials or workmanship 
  • - Hardware malfunction due to manufacturing defects (within the stated hardware warranty period) 

 

At Arista Wood’s sole discretion, the remedy for a valid warranty claim shall be one of the following: 

  • - Repair of the defective component 
  • - Replacement of the defective product or component 
  • - Refund of the original purchase price of the defective product or component 

 

Labor, delivery, removal, installation, finishing, or reinstallation costs are not covered unless expressly authorized in writing by Arista Wood. 

 

3. Natural Characteristics of Wood 

Wood is a natural material, and variations in grain pattern, texture, color, mineral streaks, knots, and other character markings are inherent and celebrated features of fine furniture. These natural variations are not considered defects and are not covered by this warranty. 

Additionally, natural changes may occur over time due to: 

  • - Aging 
  • - Exposure to light 
  • - Seasonal humidity fluctuations 

 

Such changes are normal and do not constitute a defect.

 

4. Normal Care and Use Requirements 

This warranty applies only when furniture is properly cared for and used as intended. Proper care includes, but is not limited to: 

  • - Maintaining furniture in a climate-controlled indoor environment (Recommended relative humidity: approximately 35%–55%) 
  • - Avoiding prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, heat sources, or moisture 
  • - Using coasters, placemats, and protective pads to prevent surface damage 
  • - Cleaning with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth; avoiding harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners 
  • - Promptly wiping spills to prevent staining or moisture damage 
  • - Using drawers, doors, and hardware gently and as intended 

 

Failure to follow normal care practices may void this warranty. 

 

5. Exclusions and Limitations 

  • - Normal wear and tear 
  • - Scratches, dents, or surface damage occurring after delivery 
  • - Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, or accidents 
  • - Damage resulting from improper handling, moving, or installation 
  • - Moisture damage, excessive dryness, or environmental conditions outside normal residential ranges 
  • - Unauthorized repairs, alterations, or modifications 
  • - Color variation between samples, photography, or showroom displays and the finished product 

 

Arista Wood shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages. 

 

6. Warranty Claim Procedure 

To submit a warranty claim, the original purchaser must: 

  1. 1. Contact the retailer your product(s) were purchased from 
  2. 2. Provide proof of purchase 
  3. 3. Provide photographs and a written description of the issue 
  4. 4. Any questions or claims will be directed to us at the factory, by the retailer, to resolve in a timely manner 

 

Failure to comply with these requirements may result in denial of the claim. 

 

8. Disclaimer of Other Warranties 

Except as expressly stated herein, Arista Wood disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by law.
